June 1, 2008
Zero Waste Kaua`i is taking on the resource collection (Recycling, Compost & Trash) at one of Kaua`i's biggest events, "Taste of Kaua`i". This will have the potential to really show Kaua`i how easy it can be to minimize waste. They are in need of volunteers to oversee the collection stations. Volunteers will get in free to Taste of Kaua`i (which costs $85)! Volunteers are needed for half day shifts on Sunday, June 1, for Taste of Kaua`i (1 pm to 6 pm). There is also a Set-up and Volunteer Meeting on Saturday, May 31, the day before the event (Time TBA.) If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Kelly Buskirk at kellybuskirk@yahoo.com
